Margaret Maclennan (Consultant Statistician)
Margaret is an enthusiastic Chartered Statistician with strong statistical skills developed in a range of industries, most recently Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, and previously in Electronics, Health Care and the Water Industry, all within a regulated environment. She has experience in a variety of business areas including R&D, manufacturing, clinical, post market surveillance, marketing and customer service engineering. In her early career Margaret taught mathematics and chemistry at secondary school level.
She enjoys using analytical skills to provide insight from the large amount of data available and has applied this to support scientific understanding, evidence based decision making and create opportunity for competitive advantage, providing significant business benefits. Her interest in business and the growing complexity of datasets led to further study to gain an MBA (1992) and MScIT(2002) from the University of Glasgow to complement her original BSc. hons Mathematics from Paisley College of Technology.
Margaret loves nature and is very happy living in an area with easy access to the abundance of beautiful hill walks.
